Mekong Matters Journalism Network has just re-launched our Story Funds program.

Do you have a story idea related to environmental/social impacts of Mekong-region development projects such as dams, mines, oil & gas, SEZ, transportation etc.. Or EIA processes, or energy plans in the Mekong/ASEAN region? We may be able to support your expenses up to $3000.

Please contact me if you have questions. And stay tuned for story grant calls on specific issues. Note that in most cases, the funds are for citizens of Mekong countries (Cambodia, China, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam) only.
